TENNIS WORLD: Tennis Legends Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors and Jim Courier to Compete in the Champions Showdown in San Jose
TENNIS LEGENDS TO COMPETE IN THE CHAMPIONS SHOWDOWN IN SAN JOSE ON NOVEMBER 16TH AS PART OF 2012 POWERSHARES SERIES TOUR
ATHLETES WILL COMPETE FOR A $1 MILLION PRIZE POOL

InsideOut Sports + Entertainment announced today that tennis legends Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors and Jim Courier will be competing in the Champions Showdown as part of the PowerShares Series Tour at HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA on November 16th. Formerly known as the Champions Series, the PowerShares Series will visit a total of 12 U.S. cities during its seven-week season.
In addition to Agassi, McEnroe, Connors and Courier, the tour, produced by legendary impresario Larry Magid, will feature fellow Grand Slam champions Pete Sampras, Pat Rafter, Michael Chang and Mats Wilander as well as two-time Major finalist Todd Martin. The athletes will be competing for a prize pool totaling $1 million to be shared by the top three finishers at the conclusion of the season. Each PowerShares Series tournament will showcase four of the legendary players competing for ranking points playing in two, 1-set semifinals followed by a 1-set championship match.
Pete Sampras finished the 2011 season as the #1 ranked player, followed by Jim Courier and Andre Agassi.
